RIBA competition

  March 2004

Following an international open design competition Bell Phillips architect’s have been selected by the RIBA and London Borough of Newham to refurbish and improve existing low-rise dwellings on the Brooks Road Estate in Plaistow. The project was praised by the RIBA for its:

“thorough analysis and high quality and sensitive design”

The £6million project constitutes part of a larger masterplan for the local area and will incorporate work to more than 200 existing low-rise dwellings to be carried out on a phased basis over a three year period.
