Hari Phillips

Hari Phillips studied at the University of Bath and the Escola Tecnica de Arquitectura Superior in Barcelona, graduating with first class honours before completing his studies at the University of East London.

Hari worked at Avanti Architects and then David Morley Architects where he worked on a number of high profile and award-winning projects including a new low-energy office building for the England and Wales Cricket Board and a refurbishment of the Allen Stand at Lords Cricket Ground and new Halls of Residence for Oriel College, Oxford.

He continued to work with David Morley Architects before joining Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands in 1999 where he assumed responsibility for the design of a series of major developments in complex urban contexts including a mixed-use redevelopment of Teddington Studios, a new £100million urban quarter including housing, a civil justice centre court, retail and offices in the heart of Bristol and an office, hotel and public square on the seafront in Hastings. Hari was appointed Associate Director in 2003 with particular responsibility for the preliminary stages of projects including competition entries, feasibility studies, concept development and strategic analysis.
