Phase 2 of the refurbishment work on the Brooks Road Estate comprised the refurbishment of 24 flats accommodated in a single linear building.

The proposals focused on the redesign of the building's frontage which, whilst being fronted with attractive mature trees, suffered from poor distinction between public and private space. New landscaping has provided residents with increased sense of privacy and attractive amenity. In addition the entrances have been over-clad in perforated aluminium cladding, with new canopies and an attractive Victorian-style ceramic glazed tile that compliments the landscaped frontage.
