We are working with Gallions Housing Association and the local authority to provide approximately 130 mixed-tenure dwellings, retail units and community facilities on six vacant or under-utilised plots. The proposals aim to enhance the existing urban fabric by improving the pedestrian environment through the introduction of Homezones, opening up new pedestrian routes and views, making improvements to amenity space and creating genuine streets with active and vibrant building frontages. The proposals were granted outline planning approval in March 2007.
