A house prototype designed to respond to the key issues facing housing in the 21st Century; flexibililty, density and sustainability. The house has been designed to accommodate the evolution of the family unit and can be easily separated into two parts to provide a dwelling for an elderly relative, a flat to be rented, a workspace or a garage. The design incorporates a range of sustainable features and is designed to maximise natural light and openness. The design has been shortlisted for the Mail on Sunday 'Tomorrow's Lifestyle Home' design competition. |
