This project examines the potential for providing high-density residential development on greenfield sites. The houses utilise the latest construction methods to create a flexible prototype that can be adapted by housebuilders to meet a range of living requirements, specifications and markets.

The houses are arranged with a ‘static’ zone that includes vertical circulation, bathrooms, WC’s and risers and  a ‘flexible’ zone within which the living space may be arranged in different configurations to meet the residents’ changing lifestyles. The layout is carefully manipulated to provide residents with good quality amenity space without compromising privacy.
